Theme Of The Week: Find the awe in your life

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” William Yeats

That unexplainable, tingling, exhilarating feeling of awe, has been found to have a positive impact on our health, reducing stress and also making us more caring and compassionate people. So why aren’t we out there seeking these awe inspiring moments every day?
Set an intention to seek out, notice and celebrate the awe inspiring moments in your life that you often overlook. We all are guilty of overlooking the amazing things that are present around us because we think we are “too busy”. So stop and “smell the roses”, appreciate the effort the flower has put into blooming for your eyes and its scent for your nose.

Every night before bed, reflect and write down at least one awe inspiring moment in your day, and share it with other yoga TTC students so that everyone can be inspired by the magnificence of life.
